The one thing I prayed for so many times had come true.
That is, to minister even just before I, faithfully, leave the Philippines for study. And that will be coming to a fulfillment this upcoming Saturday. It will be the Campus Invasion Conference (CIC) and I will be ministering this time. If the previous CICs I’ve been just sitting around there TRYING to help, now’s my time to REALLY help! I’ve been finding the perfect time to minister. This year, being my most vacant year, will be my ministering year, I hope. This vacancy shall be used for God, so that I wouldn’t regret that I wouldn’t even moved a finger for the ministry. Then again, my only purpose is not for me but for God.
I really enjoyed this day. It is different, different from the other trainings we’ve done. We’re not in time under pressure, and pressure of spiritual confinement since we’ve refined ourselves earlier this Sunday. Surely, this one’s gonna turn out all right, because it is highly favored by the one true God!
Anyways, we did lots a talking about the steps, the dancers who will dance the dance (or shall we dance?) and of course, costume. We argued… if we’ll buy something 100 pesos and produce it two days from now or to buy pricier items from Ate Karen’s catalogue and have a month to pay it. And end up resorting to white shirts that will be repaired either by handprints or tie-dye. I should thank God for the idea He gave us. It would cost us lesser and would use a lil’ of our creative brain juices.
We will also be holding an online journal. People are hi-tech nowadays, and so are we. We would like to introduce Faithtrax.blogspot.com, Faith Trax’ very first online logbook/journal. We had a logbook then, but we want something new so we decided to have it there published in the net – inspiring, encouraging… and dancing. The webmaster, of course, no other than but yours truly, Jonver. This would be our official logbook. This would chronicle all our feelings, sentiments and stand on things regarding us. This would also be our official bulletin board and will be updated regularly for our activities and gigs.
Everything was moving so fast today, that also I have my side of the story. The chance of me having an immediate student visa is growing large and I thank God for that. We had help from the school I’m applying and would-be alma mater and from an immigration law office named Gurfinckle (doesn’t know if I write it right.) As I mentioned earlier, this Gurfinckle guys rarely lose their cases – they’re that renowned in terms of legal counsel and other law office activities.
Thanks to the one true God. To God be ALL the glory! Ciao!
