Sniff and Blow Days

Saturday, July 23, 2005

Fridays, as many refer to, is a happy day. It’s time for an endless night in front of the TV, a disco-night, mall day, etc. But this day for me is very… sickening, literally. I have colds and I seem not to… A-ACHOO… cope with it. I kept sniffing, sneezing, and blowing. I just managed it just this hour, when I took medicine. I didn’t take the medicine early this morning because it will only cause me to doze off. And that means, I won’t be able to read Twisted, watch TV, and cook food. I don’t want to spend the whole day bedridden, that would make me more sick.
Anyways, don’t you just hate ruining a day just because of just colds? My, I just hate this day because, I haven’t to do but just to sniff and blow. Sniff and blow, sniff and blow, sniff and blow, sniff and blow, sniff and blow. And didn’t I tell you sniff and blow. Having colds is like destroying a beautiful Friday night. Instead you’re with your friends having a drink, a good ol’ place to read or even to watch a TV show properly. No! You’re with the hanky and you sniff and blow. Yeah sure, I did read and watch the TV but, I blow my nose every two minutes. Imagine that, missing the only sensible scene in the show you’re watching just because you have to blow, lest, you choke out of air.
A cool Friday night is really cool today. It is chilly, with my running (runny) nose, I can’t sleep. Now, I have to blow every minute. How can I sleep with such a nose that crazy? Ah! I can’t take this anymore. I have to sleep. I’m sleepy and irritated. I can’t stand it anymore. Just a cat nap – I just have to sleep. Please, my nose, hear me! Or else, I have to blow a hard blow – you’ll go numb!
Speaking to your nose can help. But crazy.
