My Prerogative

People around me think. . .
Think of me and my so-called PREROGATIVE

I am out of this world
An outcast or maybe just an antisocial
I don’t know. . .
I have “friends” but I have only one true friend
I have people I “love” but only few I truly love

Am I crazy?
Out of my mind?
Weird?
Or just plain…
LOST

Earth is not my home
Maybe Mars or perhaps Pluto
Or am I just weird

If being weird is one’s prerogative
I choose to be one
If that’s what it takes
To show my true me
To show them who really I am
And to finally…
Meet my TRUE friends

I just want to be me

Am not selfish
