First Day Funk -- delayed!

THIS IS MY literal first day here at blogspot! But my First Day Funk at school has not started yet.... Why? Let me tell you...

You see... I am trying for a school at US (ahem! I am Filipino) and I didn't enrolled this year at any college here in the Philippines... and that frustrates me... I am BORED... Tired of watching the TV and DVDs. What am I to do?? My First Day Funk is delayed!!!!

My best friend is enrolled at the most prestigious school here -- The University of the Philippines or UP... His course is Broadcast Communication... Although that he says it is really hard at that university, I am desperate to enter the u. It is my dream school after all! I took the exam and guess what? I FAILED! Do you know how it broke my heart when I saw the failure letter of the school? I tore my heart apart and mashed it with it's words --

Sorry, but you failed our entrance exam...

Waaaaaaaaaaaah! And now I accompany my best friend at UP and suddenly my memories will come rushing back to me that I FAILED!!!!

Well, anyways, I accepted it as a real challenge to enter the school. The test is quite a feat but I think It's not the school for me. Months after I took the University of the Philippines College Admission Test or UPCAT, my grandma called me that I have to prepare myself 'cause I will be studying abroad. I think that moment that I will not pass the test since God has permitted such great opportunity for me to study abroad.

I took the Test of English as a Foreign Language and scored 227 in the overall. I am required to have at least 173. After that, I passed my application letter and my personal essay. Few months after, I waited for the Form 1-20 (the one you need to present at the embassy), and certain documents that showed my relatives' support towards my great studying at New York. Oh by the way the school is Hudson Valley Community College of HVCC at Troy, New York. Thus, the begin of my new life...

But waiting is such a boring activity! So I have to do something... But nothing can do but going to school again... Having nothing to do with the madness going on, I am damned to wait 'til September to study again. Man, I missed school, a lot. Some thought school is boring, but that's my typical place other than the bookstore here. So, I just again sit down and watch some stupid programs in the black box. Hopefully, I will have to go to school again....

Oh I almost forgot, I like reading books too, so if anyone would like to recommend a good book, kindly post it here. But, I hate stupid love stories, I like informal essays, satiric compositions, horror and detective stories.

Well, anyways, even though my first day funk at school is delayed, at least, my first day funk here in blogspot has definitely happened.
